General: 50-yard benchrest match for semi-automatic rimfire rifle chamber in 22 LR.

The competition consists of 20 bullseyes for score shot in 15 minutes. The maximum score is 200.

It uses .22 Rimfire automatic rifles with unlimited scope power in 3 basic classes:

1) Factory

2) Unlimited

3) Outlaw - This class is for bolt guns: heavy barrel and light barrel.

Course of Fire:

• Type: Rimfire Benchrest

• Range: 50 yards

• Targets: 20 bulls/20 shots – best edge scoring (see target description below)

• Relays: 15 minutes

Equipment:

• Rifle: Semi-auto 22 LR (see ABRA class rules: http://autobenchrestassociation.com/).

• Scope: Unlimited power

• Ammo: Commercial 22 long rifle

• Rests: Two-piece (separate front and rear) rests, bi-pod, and/or bags No one piece rest

• Other: Wind flags allowed.

Match Fees: $15.00 per gun/class, $35 for championships

80-Round Regional Match Course of Fire:

The Belton Rifle Club Range is a 300 yard range. Matches are shot at 200 & 300 yards. The 600 yard course is shot at the 300 yard line on reduced targets. Electronic scoring will be used on all yard lines. The course of fire is the standard NRA 80-Round Match with sighters at each yard line.

This is a 120 rounds match; 60 rounds at 50 yards and 60 rounds at 100 yards, plus unlimited sighters each stage during the 20-minute live-fire time period.

100 yards targets contain 2 bulls for record and 1 sighter bull.

*50m on 50m target and 100 yard metric target in the March and October metric matches

Competitors will change targets after each 20 shots for record

Course of Fire: Match will follow CMP Course-A format 35 rounds fired at 200 yards.

4) Modern Military Rifle –Standard production or as-issued semi-automatic military type rifles of U.S. or foreign manufacture with no special accurizing or match conditioning.

B - Open Class / Other Rifles: Anyone is welcome to participate in the matches using any centerfire rifle in our Open class. As long as it is safe to shoot, it is welcome on the firing line.

Course of Fire: Match will follow CMP Course-A format 35 rounds fired at 200 yards.

· Stage One – Sighting, Slow Fire – 5 rounds fired in 5 minutes
· Stage Two – Prone, Slow Fire – 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes
· Stage Three – Prone, Rapid Fire – 10 rounds fired in 80 seconds
· Stage Four – Standing, Slow Fire – 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes

All competitors will be expected to score and assist in range duties (set-up and clean-up) as required.

Target: 200-Yard SR-1 Target for all stages

Safety: Competitors will follow range safety rules. Eye and ear protection required. A safety brief will be conducted prior to start of match. All participants must sign range liability waiver.

A - CMP As Issued Rifle Categories:

1) M1 Garand
2) Springfield – 1903 & 1903A3
3) Vintage Rifle – Includes US Krag & M1917 and vintage foreign military bolt rifles (Vintage Military which includes just about all service rifles made prior to 1954)
4) Modern Military Rifle –Standard production or as-issued semi-automatic military type rifles of U.S. or foreign manufacture with no special accurizing or match conditioning.

B - Open Class / Other Rifles: Anyone is welcome to participate in the matches using any centerfire rifle in our Open class. As long as it is safe to shoot, it is welcome on the firing line.

The competition consists of 20 bullseyes for score shot in 15 minutes. The maximum score is 200.

It uses .22 Rimfire automatic rifles with unlimited scope power in 3 basic classes:

3) Outlaw - This class is for bolt guns: heavy barrel and light barrel.

This is a 120 rounds match; 60 rounds at 50 yards and 60 rounds at 100 yards, plus unlimited sighters each stage during the 20-minute live-fire time period.

50 yards targets contain 4 bulls for record and 2 sighter bulls.

100 yards targets contain 2 bulls for record and 1 sighter bull.

*50m on 50m target and 100 yard metric target in the March and October metric matches

Competitors will change targets after each 20 shots for record

Match 1: 2 targets, 20 shots for record each, 5 shots per bull plus unlimited sighters each in a time limit of 20 minutes per target – 50 yards. *50m in metric match

Course of Fire: Match will follow CMP Course-A format 35 rounds fired at 200 yards.

· Stage One – Sighting, Slow Fire – 5 rounds fired in 5 minutes

· Stage Three – Prone, Rapid Fire – 10 rounds fired in 80 seconds
· Stage Four – Standing, Slow Fire – 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes

All competitors will be expected to score and assist in range duties (set-up and clean-up) as required.

B - Open Class / Other Rifles: Anyone is welcome to participate in the matches using any centerfire rifle in our Open class. As long as it is safe to shoot, it is welcome on the firing line.

This is a 120 rounds match; 60 rounds at 50 yards and 60 rounds at 100 yards, plus unlimited sighters each stage during the 20-minute live-fire time period.

50 yards targets contain 4 bulls for record and 2 sighter bulls.

100 yards targets contain 2 bulls for record and 1 sighter bull.

*50m on 50m target and 100 yard metric target in the March and October metric matches

Competitors will change targets after each 20 shots for record

Match 1: 2 targets, 20 shots for record each, 5 shots per bull plus unlimited sighters each in a time limit of 20 minutes per target – 50 yards. *50m in metric match

Match 2: 1 target, 20 shots for record, 5 shots per bull plus unlimited sighters in a time limit of 20 minutes -50yards. *50m in metric matches.
