When the W.A.R. Fund Falling Steel Match, moved to Belton Gun Club they were able to move from 6 stages and a side match to 10 stages and a side match! Because of this they were able to increase participation to 222 paid shooters and raised $16,000 along with giving away $20,000 in guns, gears and prizes!! That was a record year for the W.A.R. Match and we only expect it to be better in 2020!
The W.A.R. Match will use the Competition Bays and all but the back 4 Multiplex bays Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Cowboy Shooters have agreed move their monthly match to the back Multiplex Pistol bays and use two of them on Friday/Saturday. The shotgun areas, training bay, 300-yard rifle bay and 2 multiplex pistol bays in the back on Friday/Saturday will continue to be open to the club.
Wednesday 9/9 – Set Up Day
Thursday 9/10 – RO/Staff shoot day
Friday 9/11 and Saturday 9/12 - Public shoot days
Tear down will be Saturday after the awards ceremony and Sunday first AM. The tear down crews will target the non-competition bays first to open the bays back up as soon as possible.
We will open VIP group and individual registration NOW to the Belton Gun Club membership as a thanks for your continued support. Registration will be open on May 1st to the general public. Dave Valenti with the Belton Gun Club will be handling all the registration via PractiScore.
