New membership to the Belton Gun Club has been resumed. We have experienced tremendous growth over the past couple years, and would like to take an opportunity to evaluate our membership levels to insure that all members have a safe and enjoyable experience on our ranges
There are several steps to the application process. All steps must be completed before becoming a probationary member of the club.
- APPLICATION - Candidates for membership must complete an online application (including CWP or SLED Background with photo ID and two current members as sponsors: Online Application Link
- ACCOUNT AND PAYMENT - Candidates for membership must setup an online account and pay initial fees: Account Setup Link Pay first year’s dues of $200 plus a one time initiation fee of $300 for a total of $500 at the time of application. At your one year anniversary, the Executive Committee will vote on your full membership.
- EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE APPROVAL - At this point in the process, the Executive Committee will vote on your status at the next regular Committee meeting (1st Tuesday of each month). ACCESS CARDS ARE ONLY ACTIVATED AFTER COMMITTEE APPROVAL.
- ORIENTATION - Once you have paid the initial fees and submitted your application, view the Events Calendar on this website and register for a New Member Orientation. Please schedule an Orientation AFTER the 1st Tuesday of the Month following your application and fee payment. Typically you will receive you access card to the club at your orientation.

The member will then serve a year as a probationary member.

On the anniversary of the member’s acceptance as a probationary member, you will be voted on by the Executive Committee for full membership. The member will then be invoiced to pay prorated dues for the balance of the fiscal year bridging your membership to the annul July 1st renewal. The member will also be required to pay regular membership dues of $200 by June 30 of the year elected into full membership. A $50 penalty will be assessed for all members not paying their dues by June 30th. Cards for non-paying members will also be deactivated until dues are paid.

Prospective members that are not able to attend a regular meeting may contact the Executive Committee (bgcexecboard@gmail.com) to make alternate arrangements. The prospective member may also call the range manager at 864-318-4383 to make arrangements.
