LOCATION: Belton Gun Club (BGC) 153 Range Rd. Belton, SC 29627
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all, BGC membership is not required to attend. All BGC rules apply to all shooters and non-shooters. Everyone must wear eye and ear protection.
ENTRIES: Entries are accepted the morning of the match. Match registration and sighting shoots start at 08:00, closes at 08:45. The safety review and rules of match are given at 08:50. The first group is called to the firing line at 09:00 hours.
ENTRY FEE: $10.00
Rifles: .22LR ONLY all actions and sights are welcome.
COURSE of FIRE: While the NRA allows for several different courses of fire, the matches will be 10 shots, standing at four sets of animals at different ranges for a total of 40 shots as follows:
10 Chickens at 40 yards - 10 Pigs at 60 yards - 10 Turkeys at 77 yards - 10 Rams at 100 yards
The course of fire is divided into two 5 shot strings. The shooters will have 2 ½ minutes to shoot the first 5 targets. Then a 30 second “Ready” period followed by 2 ½ minutes to shoot the second set of animals facing the opposite direction.
