Time:

  • ·         Registration/Sign-in begins at 1:30 PM. Followed by squadding & safety briefing.
  • ·         Firing begins at 2:00 PM.

Match Fees: $15, Match fees can be paid online through club web page (https://beltongunclubinc.wildapricot.org/)

Course of Fire: Match will follow CMP Course-A format 35 rounds fired at 200 yards.

  • ·         Stage One – Sighting, Slow Fire – 5 rounds fired in 5 minutes
  • ·         Stage Two – Prone, Slow Fire – 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes
  • ·         Stage Three – Prone, Rapid Fire – 10 rounds fired in 80 seconds
  • ·         Stage Four – Standing, Slow Fire – 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes

All competitors will be expected to score and assist in range duties (set-up and clean-up) as required.

Target: 200-Yard SR-1 Target for all stages

Safety: Competitors will follow range safety rules. Eye and ear protection required. A safety brief will be conducted prior to start of match. All participants must sign range liability waiver.

Equipment:

A - CMP As Issued Rifle Categories:

  • 1)    M1 Garand
  • 2)    Springfield – 1903 & 1903A3
  • 3)    Vintage Rifle – Includes US Krag & M1917 and vintage foreign military bolt rifles (Vintage Military which includes just about all service rifles made prior to 1954)
  • 4)    Modern Military Rifle –Standard production or as-issued semi-automatic military type rifles of U.S. or foreign manufacture with no special accurizing or match conditioning.

B - Open Class / Other Rifles: Anyone is welcome to participate in the matches using any centerfire rifle in our Open class. As long as it is safe to shoot, it is welcome on the firing line.
