Haven’t shot before?? Now is the time to learn in a safe, fun, non-competitive atmosphere.
Haven’t shot in a while?? Women of all ages are invited to participate, regardless of skill
level or experience. Minimum age is 12. Girls 12-17 must attend with an adult over 21.
The chief instructor is Jackie Emslie, a well-known and accomplished firearms instructor
specializing in women’s firearms education.
All participants will be shooting rifles – no permit required. Participants with pistol licenses
or are at least 18 years old can shoot handguns to keep within SC firearms laws.
All firearms will be provided for this clinic.
You will learn: *Safe Gun Handling Skills *Ammunition Basics
*Fundamentals of Marksmanship *Proper Gun Storage/Cleaning
Registration: $35
- Includes a safety class, on-range firearms coaching, ammunition, targets, use of .22 rifles
and handguns (if eligible), safety equipment
- Students should bring their own lunch, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Refrigeration
is available and bottled water will be provided.
- Pre-registration is required by Sept 20 and space is limited.
